Matt was sent to a military style camp. On the way he met a girl called Azura and a boy called Paul. Sunken Forest is set at Lake Waikaremoana near Te Urewera in the North Island. I thought this book was interesting because I felt like I was at Lake Waikaremoana in the book. I recommend this book to children 10+ for girls and boys because my class thought it was a great book and we are a range from 10-12 years of age.
