History Behind The Squash Racquet
Harrow School in London, England invented the game squash around 1830. In 1864 the first four Squash courts were constructed at the school and Squash was officially founded as a sport in its own right.
Squash is a very popular sport in Egypt and in just one squash club there is an outstanding amount of fifty courts! When squash had just become a thing people used to play with rubber balls. When the ball hit the wall the ball would splatter against the wall.
Nowadays Squash Racquets look a lot different then they used too. Old squash racquets used to be made out of wood and laminated timber. Nowadays they are made out of aluminium, graphite and the strings are made out of synthetic material.
In the old days, there was a small amount of squash racquet brands. These days there are lots more racquet brands, for example, Head, Prince, Tecnifibre, Wilson and Dunlop. The lighter the racquet the better it is but it means that it will be more expensive. Good racquets range from over 300 dollars.

Next time you got to the squash court for a game consider all of the innovation that has gone into producing the game it is today.
