Perishing Poles I found interesting because I don’t usually read non-fiction books. Every chapter is a new little story or quiz. I found it fascinating reading the part when there were two teams racing to reach the south pole first. The two teams had to overcome frostbite, stormy winds and temperatures up to -40°c. I enjoyed this book because it isn’t something I would just pick off the shelf of the library. I would recommend this book to children 7-10 years because it was an easy read for me.
